Prof. Vitale will be leading a series of workshops in St. Louis and Ferguson Missouri on February 2-3 on alternatives to relying on police to resolve neighborhood public safety concerns. The workshops are being hosted by the NAACP-LDF and the Advancement Project as part of their ongoing efforts with local stakeholders to work for improved policing and community safety.
